I guess the upshot would be that they are tuned and running ready to slot straight into the KE15 if you still want the engine and box....

Ya ! Still want!!!! , if you want to borrow the carbs , no drama's. but I thought you where going to swap 4k to 4agte relatively soon .? I have two sets of the 3KB's twin carbie set up. Plus as of today it is now KE15's . Found a much better rolling shell ( almost no rust ).

    UPDATE:

So, as some of you will know, this car is not my focus, and I just do work on it every now and then......
I pulled my finger out last friday and have made some good progress in the past few days....

I have installed my set of GReddy coilovers in the front, and I will be running the incar damperner adjuster as well.....

What I have decided to do, is to just throw a standard N/A 4AGE into the car for now, while I build the high comp forged N/A motor for it...... At least this way, I can be enjoying the car instead of it just sitting there..... Money is tight at the moment, so the built motor will still be a while off.....

    So, I removed the 4AGTE....

I then had to prep a spare 4AGE I had in my parts stock. Its just a 3 rib 4AGE, fully re-conditioned head (little kms)...... After a few hours going thru crate after crate of Corolla/4AGE parts, I had all the parts I needed to complete the motor....

I have also have Dave sending me some new springs for the rear (6kg)......

More progress in a few days....

Well, after more than a year for an update on this car, I guess its time.

I once again changed my mine with engine choice.I pulled the 4AGE out and fitted up yet a differant 4AGTE (200kw) I had lying around.....

The car is up and running and almost ready for it's RTA inspection. I had the car engineered last week. When the cert arrives and fix up a few very minor things I can take it to the RTA....

Car is running a smallport 4AGTE with a BB HKS2540R turbo (T28 size etc)..

The car is in rego spec in some of the following pics (horrible rego wheels etc) , and when its regoed, I will make it much cooler I do like the look of it with the Black WORK Ewings and lower.......

So, Finally got the car all registered, all engineered etc a couple of months ago....
Since then, I have been fixing up and adding some better bits and pieces....

    Suspension:
The car now has TRD suspension all round....
Front: Custom coilovers modified by TRD in Japan with brand new TRD Dark blues (Highest track spec adjustable shocks) with TRD springs (Actually Altezza rear springs), with GReddy cambertops

Rear: TRD Blue adjustable shocks, 4.5kg springs, and TRD bushes in Trailing arms

    Fitted up Redlines...

I have fitted up my UK spec 240kph/140mph speedo cluster

Also picked up an old school dished 'Personal' steering wheel

Next job is to remove the horrible gauges from the dash and replace the dash with a uncracked mint one I have to go in.....

I really now need to source some good seats and wheels for it.... Not cheap
