Bathurst Cruise - July 1 2012

Hey Guys,

I thought you guys might be interested in this cruise, it is a great drive and a hassle free day.. I'll be attending and hope people from here will be interested as well.


It's that time of the year again, the annual twincam.org.au Bathurst Cruise.

Date: Sunday, July 1st 2012
Meet Time: 8.30am for 9:30am depart
Meeting Point: McDonalds McGraths Hill - Corner of Windsor Rd and Groves Av. (refer map)
Destination: Mt Panorama, Bathurst
Bring: Yourself, Travelling companion/s, Tunes of choice, jumper or jacket (it will be cool/cold), full tank of fuel (there are petrol stations in the vicinity of the meet point), money for lunch, anything else you think you need.

NEWSCASTLE/CENTRAL COAST SUB-MEETS:
If anyone else is planning to arrange a sub-meet point before the cruise, please PM me with details and I will add it to this post.

DAY PLAN:
Upon arrival we will do some laps of the track, take photos, shoot some video, and hang around to enjoy the scenery. At some point during the afternoon we will head back down the hill and into the town to grab some food from one of the fast food places or cafes in the town. From there it is up to individuals to choose whether they want to hang around or start the journey home.

OTHER NOTES:
The cruise date has been chosen so far off so that attendees can make arrangements to be able to attend. The date will not be changed. If you can't arrange leave from work, etc, then I'm sorry, but there's always next year.

Once again, I'd also like to extend the invitation to other forums and car clubs to join us on our trip.
Should you feel that another forum is worthy of coming along, feel free flick me a PM and let me know who it is you intend on inviting. Most people should be ok, but in select cases I will ask that you do not invite certain forums due to their bad reputations for cruises.

just a warning(not trying to bring a negative "vibe") the local area around mcgraths hill, has had alot of "publicity" on the news about hooning/burnouts etcetc, so i dont recommend screaming through windsor or richmond, both green highwaypatrols (unmarked and marked) both know there corolla's and playing Nah that engine comes from factory wont work, and they are on the hunt lately

Most of the time they will only hassle you if you are "hanging" in the one spot for ages and causing trouble...

BTW - Lunch is a BBQ at the top of the mountain..

OK, it is now 1 month to go, please let me know if you are coming so i can ensure the numbers for the BBQ are right... At this stage around 15 people have confirmed.

If anyone has any special requests for the bbq please let me know..

But you don't make friends with salad because no one likes eating grass.

Also i've been advised that a couple of professional photographers will be joining us on the cruise and are happy to put the pics up.

I'm deffs keen, my brother might be coming in a r32,

I also have a ae71 bigport and ke70 small port turbo in mind that may come, I'll let em know now.

Just bring the snags bro, can't go wrong then
