Friday morning i split my fuel cell on my way to work, i knocked off at 12 n headed home, had the tank out, flushed and purged by 1:30, ground out n welded up by 2.. quickly packed my bags, checked the engines vitals n headed north to Matts place at 3:30pm, 7hours and 542km later i arrived. Engine off, earplugs out, shook hands with Matt (champion) n casually chatted in the driveway at like 10pm for about 45mins... headed inside, murdered 3 beers with him and his older bro, n tucked off too sleep.
Morning came n i shot around to Bens place up near Blacktown, another 50km sunk, Couldn't see in plain sight Bens house number which was the one i was staring at, felt pretty stupid when he walked out the door Shook hands, talked shit, n then headed off to vito's workshop, fiddled with a few bits n bobs, supplied o-ring grease n helped shim the flash hydro throwout bearing, met Laurence (another top bloke) talked more shit, n then went gokarting with Ben Matt n his little one (absolute little legend! does cut sick in a kart and is now corolla obsessed )
After that, threw a few ae86dc stickers on the rig, ended up getting to bed around 3am lol..
Up at 6:30 or some stupid hour (thanks ben) n before i knew it we were on the road to the meet point, shortly after turned into one of the best days i've had (car related respectively).

Would like to put out a massive thanks to everyone who made my weekend what it was, especially to Matt, and Ben who put me in a bed for Friday and Saturday night, and shared beers n food n such!!... just honestly.. coming from the middle of nowhere to something like that (even though fucking cold) it was great.. would happily do it again (with the boot cladded and maybe a strip of carpet or two to keep what was at times snow chilled air out!)
Will harp on the vic boys to head up from melbs next time (get on it lads!)
stoked, put as many names to faces as i could, sorry i didnt get to speak to everybody, knocked over the best part of 2000km's in 3 days (plus 20mins in the gokarts... cheers ben n matt )
