    Default clutch and motor questions

i went to get a clutch today nd found out that my is out of a mr2 with a 4agze so i got a clutch to suit nd the bloke at the shop told me i cant get a heavy duty clutch, has anyone got one before or seen one as i tend to be stupid sometimes nd dont know if a standard one will cope with any abuse and i also would like to know if forged pistons are the only way to tell if the motor is a 4agze cause i got the sump off my motor nd it has a windage tray in it so i need to get 2 gaskets for it any info would be handy
    cheers beau

You should defiantly be able to get a HD and a whole other range of clutches.

4age sump has no gasket.. It's a liquid sealant.. Use "loctite blue" just make sure the sump isn't twisted and make sure u clean it well, it's all in the prep to make sure it bonds as good as it can

buy the toyota sump sealant gasket stuff from your local dealership.. not the cheapest but if you clean it and apply properly you'll never have a problem with it again...

That it's true.. I got told by a old engine builder that loctite blue is the shit to use! He had been using it forever and never had a problem and it's not expensive, it's all about how u apply it tho, as with any sealant. But gunuine stuff U can never go wrong I guess
