Default Ke70 pedal box and master cylinder tips

Okay im putting a 4age in my ke70.

As youd know i need to put in a clutch master cylinder.

Ive got the ae71 pedal box installed and bolted up.
Wats the easiest way to do the next part.

Punch a mark in the center of the 3 holes and drill from the engine bay in towards pedal box.

Or can i just find a drill peice that fits snug in the holes in pedal box and drill through to engine bay? Making sure nothings in the way like the brakes hardline?.
How did u guys get around to doing this?

Sorry i post so many questions but it is my first ever engine swapp and i just wanna do it right the first time and have no f*ck ups and have nothing f*ck out wen its done.

    Cheers, Aidan

I moved the brake line outta the way and drilled from the inside out.. I moved the rubber outta the way and marked the firewall from the inside with a texta. Don't panic if you get it slightly off as the clutch master will cover it up.

I used a holesaw for the clutch slave hole and made it slightly larger with a die grinder.

Nothing wrong asking q's if you share what you learn with others

To be completely honest I found it a bit daunting at first and i was scared of stuffing it up even with good pics of how it is done on an ae71 to look at..

Also take the drivers seat out to give yourself more room.

I was a bit scared aswell.
But today i just got in there and did it.
Had the 71 box bolted up and just found a drill peice and hole saw peice that matched the holes on pedal box
Drilled all of them from inside out after moving the hardline for LHF brake.

Once all holes drilled i just cleaned up the sharp edges. Primerd around the area so dosnt rust up and my clutch master slipped straight in perfectly. Was so happy

Thanks for your tips guys. Ledgends
