    Hey guys,

    Bought this after my ke70 just over a year ago now, I'm throwing this up ONLY because there is a car for sale I really want, if that car sells, this is getting deleted as there are hardly any of these going around, even less with rego.

    1988 TOYOTA GZ20 SOARER
    CLEAN FACTORY WHITE BODY WITH SUNROOF
    ALL ELECTRIC
    CLEAN BROWN VELOUR TRIM

    Engine & driveline
    1GGTE
    130,000 genuine km's
    Upgraded to 5 speed W58 & Exedy clutch (New Slave cylinder etc)
    New Manual Boost Controller (put this on ONLY because the 1G is a bit lacklustre at factory 9psi due to the car being quite heavy & luxury, bumped it to 11psi-hidden well)
    Full 3" dump, Full 3” system, high flow 3” cat, twin rear pipes (cut down to bumper; legal)
    K&N Pod filter + legal heat shield
    Replaced exhaust manifold gaskets and studs
    For those who aren’t familiar, some features of these cars are…
    -Automatic boot popper (lifts up by itself)
    -Headlights turn off when you take the key out of ignition (never leave them on again!)
    -keyholes light up inside (ignition) and outside (locks) at night
    -I have installed keyless entry and 3 point alarm+immobiliser
    -Digital reflective dash
    -Electric driver’s seat
    -Little lights on each side of the bonnet that light up green when indicating (they work-rare)
    -Digital climate control
    -Electric Sunroof

    Suspension/wheels
    JIC Magic Coilovers all round, painted stealthy black (unknown specs)
    MA70 brakes all round
    17 x 8” and 17 x 9" +30 Veilside Andrews, black centres with polished lips & lock nuts all round (flush)
    Brand new tyres+ wheel alignment (2012)

    Interior
    Electric driver’s seat (Lumbar)
    Digital climate control
    Digital dash
    Electric sunroof (100% perfect no leaks etc.)
    Autometer boost gauge in drivers air-con vent
    Speco oil temp, water temp & voltage electric gauges under cd player
    Factory Jap steering wheel with all buttons
    Black shift knob with H pattern
    Brand New black handbrake cover
    Brand New JVC variable colour CD/mp3 player & good speakers all round
    Original Soarer floor mats & Original Soarer boot carpet
    Original Japanese log books (reciepts of purchase/services)

    Exterior
    Series II facelift & arselift including…
    White Griffon Grill (hard to come by)
    Series II Tail Lights (hard to come by)
    Tinted windows (legal)
    Factory Chrome windguards (hard to come by)

    *MAJOR service completed in July 2011: All driveline and engine fluids flushed (where applicable) & replaced, platinum spark plugs, new hoses, service/tune etc etc. ($800- receipts)
    *NEW battery suited for a 1JZ, terminals cleaned ($180- receipts)
    *NEW tyres, lock nuts and wheel alignment completed in 2012 (receipts)
    *NEW high-flow 3” catalytic converter & muffler completed in July 2011 ($400- receipts)
    * NEW installed also in July 2011: 3 point alarm (bonnet,boot and doors) along with engine immobiliser & keyless entry. ($300-400-reciepts)
    *NEW top tank on radiator, timing belt adjusted & cleaned etc, also in July 2011. ($350- receipts)
    *NEW high pressure power steering hoses 2012
    *Service a couple of months ago with brand new leads and oil change
    Way more money has been spent, I have ALL receipts for the above and more

    NEGATIVES:
    Passenger window is a bit slow, still works every time
    Rear bar left-hand corner has a bit of yellowness
    The wheels have a fair bit of rash and one has a buckle, they still balance and align fine and makes no difference to the driving what-so-ever, still look great
    Sometimes a noise from front coilovers over big bumps
    Some rust, nothing drastic, will point out on inspection


    I think I have mentioned everything.
    Everyone I’ve met with other z20s comments how clean it is
    Car has been treated very well, purchased it from a girl in the Barossa unregod
    Always run on 98 octane, without fail. Always warmed up for a few minutes and cooled down
    Was defected last year for a blow off valve, cleared regency after adding ADM front seatbelts
    Haven’t even ripped a burnout (fact) to find out if it really has LSD (told by previous owner) so if you are the buyer you can hand over the cash and I give you permission to do one leaving my house to find out haha.

    PRICE: $6000
    I don’t care if you can get an automatic one for less, or a thrashed automatic 1J for around the same price, this around what I payed for it just over a year ago and has had much time and money spent on it.
    This is my first turbo car so I have taken good care of it. Depending on the final sale price, I might take some minor things off to take with me for the new rig.

    I had a total inspection carried out before I bought it, only faults were a stuffed shock absorber (now has coilvers) needed new coolant (now has toyota red coolant) and something else I forget, which was fixed.
