ok keep in mind an engineers approval is basicly a roadworthy for a modded car. So it needs to satisfy basic roadworthy rules first.

Now off the top of my head what the engineer that I saw wanted:

approved tailshaft loop
upgraded brakes
stock ecu
air box (plenum)
stock polution gear like a charcol canister
strut brace
upgraded brakes
reinfoced radiator support where I chopped some holes

thats all that comes to mind right now

yeah no problem but you really need to find some engineer and talk to him, watch out for wackos though as my friend with his 20v lancer had a guy even telling him about the engineering of the struts and wanting a diameter upgrade...
