    Default S13 front end into ke70

    i know i may get blasted and if so point me to the correct thread for a more in depth understanding

    hi guys im in the process of selling my commodore to fund this conversion
    and im looking at buying a s13 front cut so what i wanna know is how bad
    is it to use basically the whole front end of the s13 ? running gear like
    crossmember, and LCA's etc.. could somebody advise why its so bad ?
    and if thats not an option can i use my current ke70 crossmember if
    i grind off the engine mounts of the s13's crossmember can they be welded to my
    crossmember ?

    Many people have successfully pulled of a s13 front end, alot of people say it fucks with the steering geometry, i would personally go with the ke70 crossmember like ive done in my build, is much easier than using the s13 front end.

    Have you got any pics of the engine and gearbox crossmembers? Also you say you used the ke70 crossmember did you use the standard s13 mounts and weld them where they need to go? How much was shortening.the diff?.

    A mate of mine modified th crossmember, he cut the standard mounts off and re welded them in place.

    I got my ke70 diffs sleeves cut off and welded onto the r31 borgy centre, so its a 31 diff with ke70 sleeves, cost a fair bit all up was around $1100ish

    hey guys just another question if do use the whole s13 front end including power steering will it all work alright ?
    and will the s13 pedal box fit into my ke70 at all ? cause a hydraulic pedal box to suit a ke70 is hard as to find !

    Might have to drill new holes in the LCA's to fit the ke70 sway bar, other than that should work, s13 pedalbox wont work you will need to find an ae71 one

    Sweet do I need coilovers or can I use standard struts Nd springs? I need it legal height for engineering. How hard will the holes for the sway bar be? Thought that about the pedal box bit figured I'd ask lol

    If you are using a whole s13 front end yes you can use standard s13 struts.

    If you have a drill just drill A hole where it needs to be, have heard of the standard s13 sway bar fitting in the ke70 but that all depends on where your mounts are positioned

    Ahk that's interesting, I think I'm gonn try the whole front end if it doesn't work out ill change it, but im gonna have it aLl from the front cut so may aswell use it.

    2 questions should I manulise the s13 steering rack cause i dont want ps? And can I have ke70 strut tops on s13 coilovers? To save me redrilling the top mount
