This old girl differently will not win any concourse events . She is wee bit rough and in my opinion not economically viable to resort to street car specification . But as a cheap entry into base level motor sport ( track days , learner drift days , dirt khanacross or motorkhana ,hill climb car ) then she will be the goods. She is a huge amount of fun to drive . I have run her in khanacross and hill climb events and had a ball. Not the fastest car I have driven , but will do to learn the driving craft and an engine upgrade could be easily done at a later stage to make her that bit faster and more competitive. The suspension is at present is ideally set up for dirt type events , but she will still hold her own on the hard surfaces ,as resent results will attest to .

The GOOD

Healthy 4ac 1600cc single cam ( out of a South African corolla 4kw more than Aus car WOW ! )

new coil and plugs

t50 5 speed in good condition
S - series drum rear end with a professionally welded diff centre , brake drums, brake shoes, pistons and wheel bearings in good order.
KYB shocks front and rear
Taunbe coils from USA , front 4.5kg and rear 3.5kg , 1 inch lower than std .
Bolt in full steel roll cage ( jap spec )
4 x 13 inch alloy Rota copy mags , new rally retreads on the back ( these are the mags on the car in Khanacross photos )
STD AE86 MAGS with road tyres, 13 inch x 4
rear fibreglass flares
rear hatch lightened
rear duck tail spoiler
all sound proof removed
side windows are plastic
wheel well replaced with a flat panel
full harness seat belts x 2 fitted

The BAD

She has some rust , I have repaired the obvious , but there is definitely more .
Paint work is patchy satin black ( easy to touch up though)
Kink in RH front rail , but way in front of the cross member , so does not effect wheel alignments or suspension set up. ( refer to photos.)


Front lights and indicators not connected ( not required for most events and I have not needed them)

So if she is so much fun ( refer to photos ) , then why am I selling . Well she is just one of six AE86 Sprinter I have , and pure and simple I have run out of room , one has got to go.

So if you are after a entry level , low cost fun motor sport car , then her she is ready to go . I ran a Hill climb in her last week , she passed scrutineers with no dramas , she ran without a drama and placed 1st & 2nd in class ( two drivers ) we had a great battle on the day , posting very close times. We embarrassed a lot quicker cars and posted very competitive times out side our class. This car has now run 3 x khanacross and 3 hillclimb events and run faultless.

All you will need to run your first event is a club and CAMS licence , pay the entry fee and away you go.

Please don't low ball me , price is fair and you could part the car for more . I do not have the time or room at present.
