Subscribed for coupe and wantanabes ..... Wooo
Basically, after I sold my KE wagon I said to myself I'm NEVER doing the much work ever again.... But here we are again, 6 months down the track and I've bought myself a Kouki Trueno coupe.
Its got on it:
- Strut braces (F & R)
- Cusco camber tops
- 4.5kg front springs (too soft i think, might go up to 6kg)
- Sketchy pod filter setup
- Bigger radiator (SV11 camry I think)
- ebay fixed back drivers seat (to be removed probably)
- NEW kouki front bumper
- KYB's all round
- AJPS panhard rod
- New stainless exhaust
It's rough as guts. Shitty spray job, fucked Passenger rear quarter, flares are horrible. All to be fixed soon enough.
Plans:
- Full 2pac spray in White with black bumpers
- Fix up a few bits of the interior (mainly back interior)
- Freshen up bushes etc
- Install a manual rack (power steering is just WAY too light in this)
- Fix the brakes (Think the booster needs a freshen up, but i'll reseal calipers etc)
- Get the watanabe's I bought onto it (14x8.5 & 14x9)
- Fix all the flares, KE70 fronts onto rear etc
- Possibly equal 4 link, got the stuff sitting here I just need to make boxes
- Reseal the engine, and probably put a toda HG in it
- Few little suspension goodies (springs, RCA's, xt130's etc.. keep it basic and useable for shitty sydney roads but still enough to have fun in)
So yeah. I'll keep this updated as I go.
