    Default 3sgte into ke

    hi all,

    anyone have some info on the conversion and pricing?

    want to do it, but i dont know where to start as far as conversion goes, and want to try and get a rough costing before getting too stuck into and having to ditch

    hi, here's the main things, if your still interested I can say more:

    - custom exhaust manifold or factory manifold flipped upside down.
    - Highly modified OEM intake
    - Dizzy kit or aftermarket ecu
    - shortened rear water outlet
    - modded 2s bellhousing

    the car its to go in already has a 4agte in it, aftermarket ecu etc, so i was thinking i could atleast use the ecu and exhaust

    is there any links around to a step by step guide on the conversion?

    essentially i want 300rwkw, not too fussed about what motor ends up going in, my only want is for it to be 4pot and not an sr

    With the amount of money you going to spend on the 3sgte conversion you can get 300kw out of your 4agte

    the 4agte thats currently in it is completely dead, i would need to get a new 4agze to even start thinking about that

    is it really going to cost more than $5000 to do a 3sgte conversion?

    If your after 300kw @ the wheels yes it will cost you more than $5000 ,What runing gear have you got in your car at the moment

    Probably spend 5grand finding motor and box and getting it to fit nicely in the ke

    Yeah thats ture probebly cheaper to fit a 1jz instead, you get a complete engine with computer and harness for $1000 and 5 speed gear box $2300

    have W box and 31 diff already in the car

    dont want to go up to a 6cyl for weight purposes

    fabrication isnt an issue, have a fabricator to do the mounts and all that

    essentially just trying to sus out what i can get for $5000 pretty much on the motor id say, cant see driveline needing much change

    If you want to run 300rwkw i reckon the driveline will need a change, bracing all the rearend mounts with welds as trailing arm brackets will tend to snap, would want to seam weld most of the car
