What car what diff.
Is it easier just switchover whole back axle as I'm going to be putting in a LSD anyway?
What car what diff.
if by whole back axle you mean switching to a complete jdm disk brake diff then yes its easier.
if your converting a t18 diff to disk brakes its not as straight forward as getting jdm calipers and rotors, i started another thread on this before.
narrow down your question and we might be able to help

I'm after buying a Toyota sprinter with a 4age engine but it still has rear axle with no LSD and drum brake assembly so I'm asking is the best option to source a full Jdm rear axle or is it as easy to convert the drums to discs on the axle and buy an LSD centre?? Cheers lads
im going to make a judgement call here that your not the most car oriented kinda guy...
for you it would be easier to just swap out the diff for a JDM disc diff...
Yeah, just do what Ktas said. Easiest way.
How will that fix me wanting disc brakes?
Hi
If you have the standard S series drum rear end, it is useless
Buy a complete JDM Disc to Disc Rear end with the LSD already in it ( make sure you get all including handbrake cables as they r not cheap )
I have and can send a complete setup if interested $ $1650 + $175 freight.
You will also need either a full JDM tailshaft assy or at least the rear section from either a JDM or T18 T series to bolt together.
Pm if interested
cheers

Thanks for your help 44gte I'll send ya a pm
generally you buy a complete disc to disc jdm diff, like the one that 44gte has offered, that gives you the rear disc brake setup
