    Default Driving my AE86 2000KM

So I'm going home and just wanted to hear other peoples experiences about driving their 86's for vastly long distances.

I'm particularly interested to hear fuel and panadole consumption stories

If it is relatively standard I can see no problem, maybe carry an extra spare wheel just incase. As long as not stupidly tall diff ratios, longest I have drove with only 3 stops for fuel and quick break was from townsville to Brisbane.

I drove my 86 up from Melbourne to the Gold Coast and only spent under $300 in fuel.
Also drove it down to Sydney and back when i was living there.

If its stock should be a breeze.

To me i'd say the following importance...

    Mechanical condition of the car
Drivers seat is in good nick
    Heater working
    Diff Ratio
    Stereo works / exists
    How loud the exhaust is

Driving long distances generally isn't a massive issue.

longest I've done is 1000km (griffith to canberra to albury to griffith) round trip in 4agze ke70 8/6kg springs , fixed back seat and no stereo (used ipod with in ears) in summer.
It sucked massive hairy balls, but the rolla breezed through it, the worst bit was the fixed back the rest of it was pretty good.
Although I freaked out abit when I couldn't get premium in corowa.
