Ok so its been a bit since an update and not too much happening, so sprayed my wheels black so its a little less attention grabbing from boys in blue.
Also Beau from Field-Garage has found me a nice liitle smallport 16v setup that shouldn't be too far away, until then i have to sort the:
Diff
Gearbox
Tail shaft
and a few suspension arms

Ok so my Weber decided to set itself on fire and melt plastic/foam into itself and me not realising have started and drew a heap of garbage down into the head......
A few valves are fucked and it wont idle, tried everything but i don't think i'm going to bother with this engine now, unfortunately my conversion is moving along a bit faster than my wallet can handle.................
Big move forward today, settled a deal on my new engine and drive line package.
4AGE 16Valve 3 Rib (Bigport im sure) HKS adjustable cam gears, Not sure about cams or internals
Unknown ITB's

All fresh off the boat about 2 weeks ago.
Does anyone know if i can still use my KE70 peddal box?
no you cannot - you will need an AE71 pedal box.... or some tricky modifications to make a hydraulic clutch somehow.
KE70 Turbo 18R-G - Project Skid Car
awesome........ well not really, not too impressed about tryn to find one of them =/
Picked up my new engine package today, so far so good, got the keto up and a heap of stuff done
Old diff out
drive shaft out
4k nearly out
everything ready to go in
more to come tomorrow....................
well engine and gearbox in
just wiring, diff and drive shaft to go now
oh and fuel system
Had a little bo peep and the inside bit and found some HKS cams, had a biy of a sneaking suspicion it may have had some internal work, HKS cam gears too =D happy days, its like a lucky dip buying direct from japan

Coming along well mate. Did you end up being able to find a pedal box or are you still on the hunt?
