    Default Another KE70.....

    Hey all,


    just thought id show you all my KE70, have been on here for a while but have just been in between corollas..... so anyway just sold my EP92 GT starlet and brought this.

    Bit dirty in this pic




    And washed =D




    Car info:

    Engine
    4K-c 1300cc (stroked to 1500cc apparently)
    Big-ish cam
    32/36 DGV webber
    8mm leads
    extractors
    i think 2.25 inch straight through to shoties

    Suspension
    Had a bit of a look and seem to be short stroke sierra shocks
    Chopped something springs that are crazy thick
    Standard swaybars
    front strut top brace

    Running gear
    K50
    starndard diff, shaft and axels

    Wheels n tyres
    15x8 sunraysia i think... hoping the are diamonds lol
    185 55 15 strecthed somethings....



    so yeah that's it atm, still not 100% sure as too what i want to do engine wise? (got ideas? let me know)

    Look to be diamond racing wheels, dont see to many of them in aus

    Before you starting thinking of engines I would suggest you do suspension and brakes first, no good upgrading the engine but having a car that handles like crap

    change up ur front.. slanty looses out to flat frony in my opnion.. get a donor ae71and straight swap then ur ready for anything...

    Yeah all over that, the rear is fairly well ready to rock, just looking at the s13 gear vs the 86 gear in the front. Then the diff will be reasesssed in the way of strength and practicality.

    I would definitely go ae86 gear. There is plenty of discussion on here regarding s13 front end, both good and bad. But after all the ae86 is just meant to be and plus with the extra track of the s13 setup I dont think you would have much chance of keeping them wheels on the front.

    exactly my thoughts, i have seen the amount of extra track you get of the S13 gear and the 15x8's will be very hard to fit.

    It's been a while since i have been on here and i am blown away by the amount of extra tech articles and info *thumbs up*
