Only 20 TRD special editions will be built as part of the initial production run. These will be built to order, based on firm customer requests. Supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity, each TRD created is uniquely numbered, and rare as hen's teeth.

    Back in black

18" Black Forged aluminium wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 3 225/40R18 92W tyres give the TRD 86 sticking-power, even-more impressive cornering and street-cool in the bucket load.

    Stopping power

There's no point in pushing the limits if you’re not 100% in control. The TRD comes complete with a Mono-block Brake Calliper Kit to put some real racing punch behind your brake pedal.

    •Front Mono-block Calliper (6-pot)
    •Rear Mono-block Calliper (4 pot)
    •2-piece Front Brake Rotor (355mm)
    •2-piece Rear Brake Rotor (345mm)
•Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hose (Front / Rear)
    •Brake Pad (Front / Rear)

    Gnarly sports styling

TRD Special Edition sends shivers of anticipation up any enthusiast's spine, with a spoiler package that sets the road alight:

•TRD Front Bumper and Side Spoilers
    •TRD Rear Spoilers
•TRD Under Bumper and Boot Spoilers
    •TRD Emblem
    4 tips

The total of four exhausts (two on each side) gives the rear styling a burst of racing passion. We have taken exceeding care in tuning for sound, giving the engine a satisfying noise that you’ll feel as much as hear.

    Price: $NZ 63,486 ($48,743 AU)

Don't believe there are plans at this stage... I think Toyota are struggling enough to meet the current demand.
