JDM baffled tanks are fine for track use. I have never had surge issues with mine, just always keep it above 1/8of a tank. The reality is that any decent power output gte will go through about 1/8 tank in 8-10 track laps, so going out with less than 1/4 of a tank is playing with fire I think. I keep mine above the 1/4 mark before any session, and add petrol in about 10 litre lots.

I did run factory lines and THOUGHT it was leaning out (on the dyno) due to it but I was also running a factory AE86 pump. I upgraded both at the same time to eliminate either being an issue.
Without any supportive information, I think 150-160rwkw would be the limit of the factory ADM fuel line, I'm sure someone will say they made more with the ADM line, but the 1/4" line is a restiction you cannot get past without working the pump harder.
