Check your ecu is powered properly. If it is a big port the pump should prime briefly when you turn the ignition on.

And check your fuel pump wiring,

No worries, welcome here too btw...

If the car was running before you did the engine swap , most likely it'd be the earth wires which bolt to the inlet manifold...

Trace the loom around the engine, and you should see a clump of 4 or more brown wires which a bolt will go through that is the earth for the entire engine loom. Make sure they are bolted to the inlet manifold.

had that problem when i first did the conversion with the old engine so mad sure i got that right this time, although i had to use the other bolt hole on the inlet manifold as i may have snapped the bolt, that shouldnt make any difference right

As long as it is a good earth it should be right... Go over all earth connectors and nip them up for peace of mind.

    No fuses blown?

    Ecu power is here...

Red wire (batt) needs constant power
    and batt+ is ignition switched.

Also check the earth at the ecu pin E1 is good.. And run a diagnostic check whilst you are at it

Get some gritty sand paper and where the earths are on the body sand away the paint as it will conduct alot better than going through the layer of paint, probably wont fix the issue but will run a hell of alot smoother

you can sand away your paint or you can use a star washer
