Looks like enough left on there to use a stud remover or a pair of vice grips if you don't want to spend some money on a stud remover.
Putting all my cooling system back together again today and when I was all done I noticed a small leak coming from the thermostat housing. Tightened the bolt a bit more and then SNAP!!.... and then I got mad..
Anyway any advice on how to fix this? Or is there anyone out there I can call to come fix it on the Sunshine coast???
I just want to get the car back on the road again?

vice grips or pliers and some muscle, twist that shit out, if its stubborn try heating it with some a flame first. shouldn't be to hard to remove.

Agreed, a good pair of Vice grips will defiantly get it it out.
Awesome thanks guys.
Will give it a try tomorrow and let you know how I go
before u do that, see if u can put 2 nuts over it. Then tighten the inner nut using an open box wrench and it should sit firm against the outter nut. Then go further and hopefully it pull s out the stud.
say u still lucky, i had one broke flush . Ezy out broke in that as well. Ended up welding to the ezy out and grinding a flat and turning it out.
If none of that works as well I've used a chisel to make a groove and used an impact driver on a stripped allen key bolt.

2 nuts would be how i'd remove it...
