    Default My KE70 build

Hey y'all Im new here so I thought id fill you all in on my little project! I've recently brought a ke70 and am in the process of gathering all the required parts for a 4age conversion, I've got almost everything I need just waiting on a few little bits.
Now this car will be my new daily and replace my current one so there's no rush to do so that's why I'm
    Taking my time making sure
I get it right first off! I've also got a Nissan s14a that's my baby and here's my corolla,

The car was in pretty good condition when I got it there's only a tiny bit of rust in the boot where the rubber seal is but thats easily fixed! Its has also been lowered to some extent!

Um now I've just finished putting my motor together here's a pic of it the day I picked it up and after I gave it a good GOOD! Clean! LoL

And here's what it looks like now!

I've just basically given it a spruce up lol! I plan to put a set of ITBs on it from a silver top 20v which I already have! And the other essentials like cams and a good exhaust system! Ive already got a greddy eManage for it as well!

Now I've got a few questions in regards to my intake manifold! After I brought the motor I was going to get my fwd manifold cut and shut! But I found one eBay for a good price so I brought it and just swapped everything over from my old one to the new one and when I did so I realised that the new RWD one was missing a hole they have welded over it and there's a sensor that's ment to go there but I don't no if I need it or what can some one tell me what this sensor is for

This is my fwd manifold and I just took this pic to show you all what I was craping on about!

That yellow plug / welded hole is a temperature input sensor.. A particular model bigport had them in the airbox in FWD format where as most had them in the inlet manifold.. So find yourself an air intake temp sensor + a plug and hook it up. If you don't have an airbox hang it somewhere near the throttle body / pod / whatever you are going to run.

Build is starting to come together nicely, take your time do it right and don't be afraid to ask questions if you need help...

Personally i've never used a cut n shut one, but obviously something isn't quite right with it for it to be fowling.

Have a look at the pics of this jdm one on ebay... You might be able to work out what is wrong.

SC86 or Justjdm can sort you a jdm one if you decide the cut n shut is no good.
