Default ke70 ebay tail light problem

hey all, just came across a little problem when trying to fit my new tail light to my ke that i got from ebay and wondering if anyone else has had the same trouble, the plug from the car to the new lights in totally different and they dont supply you with a new plug to be able to chop and change... the lights on my car were stuffed so i got these to tidy it up and it just isnt a straight plug in... always the way :|

Yep, different plug unless you buy ones from NZ. You'll have to find which wire does what and connect the dots

Surely it wouldn't be hard to trace...

The plug which is in the ADM right hand side taillight, remove it and re-fit it to the new right taillight. When you fit it to the new taillight make sure you wire it all up properly. Just make sure you connect your earth when you install the left taillight. I somehow always manage to forget that one for a moment, lol. Once you've changed the plug in the new right taillight it's there forever and you can plug your good lights straight into any aussie KE/AE sedan if you ever re-shell or sell it to buy a better one etc...
