Yeah but this is a 30 yo petrol engine, probably been rebuilt some time I would think still probably just tow it down, I would have liked to drive it but meh, that's if I end up using that one instead though, haha. I got my factory turbo diesel 80 series for 10k with 355,000 still runs mint, spent a bit on it to keep it reliable to begin with though.
Got my gearbox xmember in, pain in the ass on the ground in the dark, I think I need to enlarge a couple of holes to cope with my obviously very accurate way of lining up the holes with grease around them, haha.

my 1fz-fe landcruiser had nearly 500 xxx on the clock and was still going... engine showing no signs of age... that motor is just BS!!!
Toyota hit the nail on the head with the 1fzfe as a petrol motor.

Matt if you need a hand let me know... im riping my motor out tonight and its getting a rebuild.. so no time like the present hay,

havent received the last payments yet.. but hopefully i will see them by tomorrow.

Yeah I was going to look into a petrol but just didn't want one, wanted a diesel. Although my hiace would have just towed my T18 legally... Just though, was good for traveling in though room for a mattress and everything to go away for a week comfortably.

Yeah that's what mine has, factory one. Guy from work is spending way too much on a turbo conversion on his 1hz 80 series, spent $800 on a radiator then another $4500 on turbo and intercooler kit, $600 for exhaust, $4-500 for oil cooler as well, would have probably been cheaper to sell up and but a factory one, haha.

Yeah, I probably would have rathered a 12ht series over my 80 but for the price people wanted for even older 60's I got the 80, only real annoying thing about mine is the oil pressure guage on the dash doesn't read properly, has heaps of pressure checking it on a gauge we have at work but shows stuff all on the dash one.
