the idea of a motorsport club appeals,

there is so many good corollas on here,

motorkhanas, hillclimbs, drags, drift, circuit and the odd cruise (for those with street rego)

there is so many events on, its a shame not to see more corollas out there (with the exception of drift)

we could even hold a track day if there was enough interest but it is just so hard to get the numbers

I agree 100% Dave, motorsports club would be an awesome goal to work towards..

I will do my best to try an organise a decent turn out for the next cruise/meet.. Have had a lot of people already register interest..

On the Facebook issue whilst I do agree with what's been said previously.. I agree it's true.. But I personally find it easier to use from my mobile.. My phone struggles with tapatalk app at the best of times.. It's just easier to use fb for me.. But I think it would be good try and promote 86dc on the pages would be beneficial for everyone..

I drive an MX73 Cressida, I've got an MA71 Supra that needs an engine (2JZ-GE) and I'm helping build my sons RA60 Celica.
I like driving but I've found that cruises always attract the "hoon" crowd, usually those who aren't even in the car club.
I prefer to sit around and talk to people, get good advice, meet new friends and check out cars they've built.
A Mitcham reserve meet would be perfect for me even tho' it's a 2hr return trip. The people there would make it worthwhile.

I don't know what phone you own, but Drift kid got me onto Motorculture on my Android phone and it's fast and works like a champ

By using Facebook we're dividing the scene into two camps, those who use FB and those who don't.
I frikkin hate FB because AFAIC it's purely the domain of teenage rant and anguish. Not my scene.
I'm sure among the older crowd, I'm not alone...

iPhone 5, I've got updated tapatalk app... It works ok, like I can't fault it, but just saying in comparison fb is easier to use..
Call It operator error... It's useable more than a webpage to try and load a forum... That is a friggen joke... So from that aspect it's 100x better having the app... Just that it's
Not easy for noobs to navigate through...

You've got a damn fast phone, any problem with the app would be because of the app, try Motorculture for iOS.
