I am getting concerned for my safety!! Before one of these people who clearly cannot drive do something stupid and kill someone sitting in a bus stop shelter, can I recommend they all do some driver training to reduce the chances.

Or join a sporting car club and test there non existant skills in a controlled environment.

I suppose when you think about it though: A top spec Corolla hatch costs almost exactly the same money as the GT...

So people who would have normally just gotten a corolla, are buying these...

And the kind of people who normally buy a corolla from the showroom floor are probably not normally all that interested in cars and/or performance driving. They would just look at the two cars in the showroom side by side and take the 86 because it looks cooler and doesn't say corolla on the back.

If the cars in those photos were corollas we wouldn't be batting an eyelid, so I's say that is where a lot of this is coming from.

Having said that people who can't drive should probably just leave the driver assists on and they would likely find themselves in a lot less trouble

They really should include an optional driver training day like AMG, FPV etc do when they sell these. Seems like they would reduce this happening a fair amount of people actually had some idea of what not to do.

    We live in Australia Jimmee...

Where driver training is viewed as a one way street to becoming a hoon, not a legitimate method of decreasing traffic collisions via more awareness and/or driver ability.
