hmmm.... xt130 coilovers with KYB AGX adjustable shocks.
certainly a fekload better than stock choppies with flogged out shocks. Just need painting, and the hilux/pugeot brakes bolted back on. Just add the XT130 steering arms and we have win.

Yeah im hoping it will be!

Got stuck into fitting the fuel tank last night.

I wasnt a fan of the 5/16" main feed line on the AE86 tank not having a "bead" to keep the hose secured, and on top of that with my main feed line being a 3/8" alloy line - i didnt want to have a 3/8" rubber hose squished onto a 5/16" line..... its pretty dodgy, especially when it's likely the fuel system will see up to 80psi pressure (up to 60psi rail pressure + 20psi boost).

So a quick trip to my local Enzed shop, and got myself some compression fittings and 3/8" barbs to suit.
Compression fittings fucking rock. No flare tool needed!!

On the tank, 5/16" compression x 1/4" NPT female + 1/4" NPT male to 3/8' barb.... gives a nice 3/8" barb for me to fit a 3/8" rubber EFI line.

I then replaced the return line with a properly fitted 1/4" EFI hose, and the breather with a 1/4" standard hose.

Then addressed the new alloy 3/8" fuel feed line - again compression fitting with a 3/8" barb.
Note that i have complete removed the stock 1/8" return line. It's fucking useless, even for a breather!!

.... and the lines running down the tunnel..... made sure that the alloy line is well secured with rubber P-clamps down the full length of the car!! That alloy line is easily bent, so dont want any issues!

.... and just to remind myself how cars work.

This one already has an ae71 pedal box, I was looking for one for my other ke70.I found one already tho. I'm just bored with the 4k in that one, so I'm collecting bits for a 4age conversion. Just need to find a cheap one now

Big fasts need big brakes.... so we attach some hilux/peugot brakes to the XT130 coilovers.
New suprepro bushes and balljoints all round.

Witzl baby, let me know if MA61s fit over the pug/hilux conversion...
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?

Yes they fit, quite neatly as well.
Almost as if they were made for this brake combo.
