    Default AE71 Pedal box alternative

    ok,

So as the title states is there an alternative use KE70 peeps could use in replace of the good old AE71 pedal box?

As it is these tings are becoming harder and harder to find and people asking more and more for them is there an alternative???

I was even thinking of looking at some racing places likr Tilton ect for a race style pedal box to try get my project rolling.

    Any thoughts people?

    Pull push converter.

or drill your ke70 pedal and slap a m/c onto your firewall.

Jordo is looking into an exchange program where you send him a ke70 pedal box and get back a modded one to suit hydraulic master of ae71

Will be awesome if he gets it happening.

So i got it all sorted......

I had an AE86 manual pedal box from my conversion package i brought so i managed to mod my KE70 pedal box to accept the 86 Clutch.

A small amount of cutting and shutting was involved but the end result was on the money, There is a recess/raised area on the fire wall where the master cylinder sits on the AE71 but is also on present the KE70 firewall, I figured that this was here for a reason so i based my measurements off of this when modding the pedal box and now everything looks like it is where it should be.

While modifying my 86 pedal box and KE box i kept measurements and have come up with a design for all us who can’t find/ don’t want to pay a F@#k tone for an AE71 pedal box.
I will post up some pics and other stuff of my pedal box and the new design I have come up with and I would be very interested to hear some thought on improvement on it.

Will the hole for the master go in the same place as the AE71...
Like if you have an AE71 where someone has swapped out for a Ke70 will it still work?

everything will be in the original spot, im replicating ae71 pedals, eveything will be to accept all original parts, nothing aftermarket. Im even sending out a firewall marker for every kit

Matt will take as many pedal box's as i can get my hands on.
