    Nice hiyashi.
What tyres are you going to run? I've been talking to my mini mates and they are saying you can still get heaps of good 10-12 & 13" tyres from the uk, $105 each delivered to Australia in 5 days.

Formula ford grooved slicks, work out to be roughly the same as 185/60/13 or 205/60/13 depending if I run the fronts or rears. $55 each haha.

I remember seeing these for sale on eBay a while ago, they'd have to be from the same person. From memory they must have had tyres from the whole field as there were shit loads of them!

Yeah they only use them for one session on race weekends as the cars are too light and they go off, then they toss them so heaps of tread left and heaps of leftover used tyres.

I've had a week off work, so heaps of spare time to get stuck into this. Mostly just cleaning everything up and doing some repainting, also I noticed some of the p/s fittings on the lines to the rack were leaking so I bent up some new hard lines to run a cooler and made up some brackets to mount the core in front of the radiator. Painted the washer and overflow bottles black as they were stained brown, as well as the alloy radiator and the catch can as I don't want anything shiny or flashy to attract unwanted attention.

Forgive the engine bay being beige and not white, I've been scrubbing at it with degreaser and brake cleaner for at least 10 hours all up so I'm over it and it can stay that way. At least it's not black like before.

Finally started putting this back together again, got my bumper finally after they sent me the wrong type originally. Also nearly finished plumbing up my P/S cooler, made a bracket to bolt the core to and ran one of the lines. Just need another fitting, some hose clamps and some more hose to run the other line. I think it looks reasonably neat where it ended up.

Also bolted the bumper and all the lights back on so it's starting to look like a proper car again. Just need to buy a 1/2" to 3/8" socket adapter so I can torque the head bolts down properly and get the cam covers cleaned and painted and the engine can go back in. Also need to finish silver soldering the water outlet pipes on the back of the head back together as the were a little corroded and leaking. Then I'll run the motor in and it'll be happy days of thrashing again. Excuse the ride height, engine's still sitting on the floor.

Nearly there now, just need to weld up the rear water outlet and finish the p/s lines and it's good to go again!
