Yes, you NEED a spigot bearing.
hi all,
can anyone confirm if your converting a 4ac auto to manual it needs a spigot bearing in the crank.
very pissed off, just assembled me gear and dropped it in the car with the manual gearbox on and people have been saying
on the net you need a spigot bearing, It was already rwd I didnt think it needed a spigot bearing?
thanks
Yes, you NEED a spigot bearing.
* insert depressed sigh * ok thanks
Sucks that it is such a huge job for a $2 part!
Yes, you should run a spigot bearing. That being said I ran one of my Ke70's for about thousand k's without until I overcame my laziness..
Should take stuff all time to pull out a T50 even on the ground.

hey man, cause the motor was auto, it doesnt have one and thus you need to install one...
actually cant believe that didnt come up in our conversation mate, sorry about that..
shortround: yes, yes it does haha
jackel: thats what I'm hoping, it shouldnt be too bad to drop the t50
its all good, I'm kicking myself I didnt check I just assumed as per 4age if its rwd it has one, only fwd doesnt have one. But clearly wrong.
Should only take a couple of hours to get it all done.
