Default 4AGE FWD VS RWD sump differences

Hi all, Im just wondering if there are any differences between the rwd and fwd sumps. As some of you know im doing 4age mounting kits and want to do a "lowered version" but currently the 4age im using for test fitting which i believe is a fwd motor has a sort of drop extention on the drivers side of the rear of the sump and is really close to the rack mount. I had the same problem when doing the evorolla, so without having to tell customers to bash or modify their sump's does the rwd sump have more clearances on both sides of the rear of the sump??? Or even the 4ac (wish i didnt throw my 4ac in the bin) have a different design and will it bolt up to a 4age??

    Oppinions and suggestions people's?

according to toyodiy, the ae92 4age and ae86 4age share the same part number for the sump, so Id say they are the same for all..

Personally I've owned 4age bigport RWD and FWD, 4agze bigport and 4age smallport sumps.

I've never noticed a difference except for an oil return for the factory coolers.

Small ports here have them, so do some FWD 4a- f or c's.... So there is 4a sumps with no oil return, some with and then 7a & 20v have different sumps all together.

Last conversion I did was an AE86 RWD 4AC to FWD AE82 bigport
I never really noticed the difference, went straight it, look the same to me.
I take a closer look at my AE101 GZE sump, see if it varies and get some pictures for you.

The only major difference you will get is between 16v and 20v. The 16v sump has an additional notch in the block and hence the sump. So you cannot interchange a 16v sump for a 20v sump without mods.
