    Default Twisty's Ae86 sprinter 4age 20v

Hi all i'm new to ae86dc!
i have i huge passion for old rolla's especially the 86! Here's my build

    1983 ae86 sprinter
4age 20v silvertop engine swap with T50 trans and st141 corona diff (open centre) with brake discs all round
Its an unfinished project as the last guy was Rough.
Car is currently unregistered while i do what needs to be done to bring it up to my standards.

    Exterior
    Fiberglass bonnet and scoop
    fiberglass hatch
    Fiberglass bodykit
    Coilovers all round

The interior was disgraceful but i am very close to having this vehicle on the road and registered

i purchased this vehicle in June 2011 as is and have slowly built it up more legit for roadworthy

The first pics are of how i bought it and i will post up new pics of how it is now when i get the chance

    future plans :
LSD hilux diff or something lsd at least!
    aftermarket ecu /ramtubes/
New rims and tyres which will be purchased after roadworthy!

waiting on my dash to be repainted and a 555 timer circuit for my ecu then car will be going in for roadworthy.

Really solid base there which will be awesome once you've got it up to scratch..

    -paint mirrors black
    -paint window trims black
    -replace tail lights with anything
    -change wheels
-get rid of the badges on the grill

other than that it will look great.
the photos say this is what it looks like when you got it.... so what does it look like now?
    stroked 2L ca18-ae86 in the build...eta xmas 2012?

Lol cracks me up what people do to some cars!! Tail lights you could get away with if they were slightly tinted? But a nice set of 15x9s will make this look 100x's better.
Not by any stretch the worst Hachi I have seen this is fixable by easy mods. I have seen "usdm" hachis online with horrible candy and tribal graphic paint jobs rolling on 20's and with hydro's. This is fixable, please fix it

    Definately agree!
i can say putting rims on this will make it look at least 100 x times better,
i'm waiting to get these measured up,

Thoughts on running 215/50 on the rear still slide-able?

Got a pic of my engine bay before it got to dark today
Note:i've used the heatsheild you see painted black for 2 reason
    1. to cover the engine ecu from engine bay temps
    2. cover the coil overs up
i'll be replacing the old battery when i get rw

p.s pic does not to engine bay alot of justice :/
So very close till stretching its legs on the road!

I run 195 45 15 on my 8s and can still slide on those but much wider would be to wide for a 20v in my opinion. (195 45 15 isn't a very common size though so makes tyre prices high. Especially the continentals I use!)
