Oh that's right, there's a build thread on rollaclub.
There is also another place here in Brisbane that just finished their 4age rally car.
"Not all commodore drivers are wankers, but all wankers drive commodores"
Oh that's right, there's a build thread on rollaclub.
i sort of disagree with you Richard
an N2 engine would be shit house in a gravel rally car (and you cant use 20v from memory)
as pointed out above you need a wide usable torque band, wouldnt want to rev it to more than 8000 ideally and obviously tearing it down once a season not once every 10 hours of use
he wants someone with experience building rally engines not just someone who can bolt on parts I would imagine
To the OP there has been a few 4age ae86s in PRC in most states so ask around - Andy Macdonald from perth (now QLD) has a blue one - i can pass on his email if you like

There's a guy on ae86irl who is based in USA selling a newly built hastlegren 4age with around 200-220hp if would be any use? Cheaper than building similar one
I was talking to that guy in the USA ... All sorted . Proven 245hp out of a 4age .. That will go nicely with the tractive sequential 6 speed box . I'll post engine specs tomorrow serious bit of kit
That would be the fellow from club4ag. I take it you are already a member of bms forums, a few built 4age's there for the sole purpose of rally. Maybe have a chat to one of the owners if you haven't already.
