Default ae86 front discs fouling on backing plates.

    Car - ke70

motor / part in question - front hubs/disc's

problem - discs fouling on backing plate/calliper mount

    Hey guys

was trying to put my front hubs on but for some reason they are fouling on the backing plates/calliper mounts. I can't work out why, i have ae86 hubs, backing plates/calliper mounts on ae86 struts. I just got a set of rda front slotted rotors (part no RDA7500), which are supposed to be for jdm callipers. but it seems that they're too thick or that i may have the wrong hub has anyone had this problem before?

here are some pics to give you an idea:

see theres a gap between the bearing and the back of the stub.

This is with the hub assembly pushed back as far as it will go.

these are the caliper brackets ive got:

And here is the hub i'm running, i'm pretty sure they're not ae86 ones as all the ones on google images look different.

any help is much appreciated guys!! Am trying to get the car ready for a track day which is this weekend and if i cant get this sorted it wont be happening.

aaarrrrhhhhggg, yea thought they might not have been ae86 ones. yea he guy who sold them to me said they were ae86 hubs .

So if they're not ae86 hubs, does anyone know what hubs they are off? cause the bearings and races fitted in perfectly :/

Could possibly be T-18 S1 hubs, AFAIK they're the same bearing sizes just different offsets.

ADM and JDM backing plates are the same.

From the pic the backing plates look like AE86

Hubs , not sure from pics, but shoud have AEon the back from memory

    Cheers

    These are T-18 S1 hubs.

Look to be the same, i can say these are definitely from an S1 as i pulled them off it. I can understand how the mistake was made.

Atm I'm just going to chuck some ke70 struts in for the track day then hunt around for some ae86 hub. Yea if only it had been, would have taken you up on that.

anyone know someone with a set of ae86 hubs they would be willing to sell???
