Sorry to not answer your question completly. I believe the fork locater bolt to be something a little unique to this model of box up grade. Perhaps it is a Quaife thing? As I remember it, the std T50 uses a roll pin. It has been a while since I have played with 1. I have 2 excellent gearbox guys I use and seriously kicking myself for not getting this one stripped and checked before putting it in.

Wow, some damage on the box
Seems you know what are doing with the repair, but if you dont find if Quaife can help you out, you could look for another coloany to custom make your parts.
1- Gearmotive in Finlad( i am using his T-50 dogbox for my ae86) they are very helpful.
2- in thailand there is another company that are doing some gearing for different boxes.

Well, hope that you could fix it properly.
Are you going to be using other box meanwhile?
    Cheers

Just looked up GearMotive. The look to have a neat product and worth talking to.

We do have several options here in Aust too, PPG Albins Holinger for starters. I will look local first but I like your suggestions.

It has been a while but after a long search I have a new crank and it is back from the machine shop. After a good clean etc it's time to put this thing back together.

I flush the galleries with degreaser and air blower several times before installation. The coolant machine shops use are full of fine iron filings, perfect for chewing new bearings up. A quick spray of WD40 or Inox helps to protect from fingers corroding the surfaces when installing too.

The white towel was perfectly clean before flushing the galleries btw.

Now that it is all fresh as, it's time to sell. Sad to see this one go but... I may have another in the wings needing some love.

Can you tell me, please, who in Thailand does this?
