    Default Injector insulators

Hey I'm chasing some blacktop 20v injector insulators, top and bottom for each injector.

Toyota only has 4 in Australia I need 8, just wondering if any one has bought them from elsewhere or knows a substitute?

    Cheers, Dan.

Like the rubber o-ring things? I took my old ones in to CBC and they matched up some new ones.

Yeah on either end, I'm not actually sure what they look like mine are that fingered, I wasn't sure if they were an o-ring or some sought of spaccer. I got some o-rings from an EFI place in Brendale thinking they'd do the job, but the only thing they had in the correct diameter is to narrow, like height wise and with the injectors fitted they're about 1mm from the plate that holds them down.

How much are they from toyota? if you get desperate most injector places will replace them and clean the injectors for $20 an injector.

Um i think they were like $1.85 each, there's only 4 in Australia, will need 8 being the problem. The main 2 o-rings are perfect on each injector, it's just those 2 insulators I need.
Will probably just have to hunt around EFI places.

Ok so now after looking at them again and comparing to a second set of throttles I have sitting there, the second set of throttles also have a small amount of play in and out.
When pushed right down they also have the gap from the plate that retains them, I guess the pressure in the inlet manifold would keep the injectors pressed back against the reatining plate? Maybe, haha I don't know??

But this is what the o-rings I got from the EFI place came up like when put on the injectors, does it look right?

Does it seal up? Use some rubber grease and check them actually installed.

Yeah may try that, the 2 main seals are perfect so I'm assuming they'll seal fine, it's just the bottom one I'm more concerned about, it's the correct diameter, not sure if it's height is correct. Did you just use an o-ring like in the picture?

Was my blacktop 20v that ran like shit, the bottom seal was pretty much powder

Where did you get yours from? My main 2 seals are perfect but the bottom one especially is nearly non existent.

Are they just a standard o-ring? Like in the picture?
