Modified the 20v silvertop plenum at TAFE the other night...

Cut the air pipe off the box which was a little painful to get at and swapped ends...

Haven't yet checked the clearances, but hopefully it'll fit otherwise i'll cut some more off the back of the box... The factory boxes use a bronze style weld which was used to plug the old hole as it was allot of effort to remove it...

    Great to see Matt .
I bought this car a few years back as a parts car but didn't have the heart to crush it --- fixed it up a bit , but considered it to far gone to restore . So built it up using parts left over from other projects , to be a dirt Khannacross car . Full cage , 4ac power , locked S rear , cut out some of the obvious rust , but only the stuff that was really obvious . My son and I had a ball , khanacross and a few hillclimbs , ( JO JO ) even had a guest drive . Them Canberra lost the Khannacross venue and she was just sitting . I had two many car\projects so she was sold to Matt.

Mate you have really got your work cut out to bring her back to life , but I reckon you can do it ( you certainly have the passion ).
If only this car could talk !!!!! You get a feeling about some cars ( they have a sort of soul to them ) some are just a lump of steel ( bog & fibreglass ) and parts , while others seem to be alive. This car has a soul to it and from the day it rolled off a JAP assembly line to now it has survived every thing that has been chucked at it. And just when all seems lost it got one and now a second stay of excution.

Go for it Matt , It will take some doing , but I reckon it's going to be worth it. Look forward to the build updates !!!!!!!!

Here are a couple of photos of her in action earlier this year .

    Some cool pics, thanks bob...

It is a fair bit more work than I anticipated, but give me a year or 2 and it'll be in good shape.

Drift pig are just that, drift pigs.. Just drift it and enjoy I say

It will serve it's purpose no doubt

Are you planning to have this rego'd or just a track hack? Seeing you got the tow car this would be a track only car? A lot of cool things can happen on a track car, I would do it if I had the funds for having multiple cars
