    Default how tight do fly wheel bolts have to be !!!'??

    hay what do i set my torque wrench at to tighten my flywheel on my 20v 4AGE silvertop


    ANYONE KNOW??

    yeah dude as tight as the bolt will allow before you snap something, but good luck snapping something before you pull a muscle..anyways after all these clutch and flywheel changes on stock motors that sees 7500 very often, super hand tight has worked enough so tight as tight and you'll be alright.

    I have never looked it up for a 4age, but cars at work (VW) are 90nm+90 degrees with loctite from memory.

    That's what I did to mine 2 years ago and it hasn't come off, touch wood, but I didn't use loctite as I didn't have any.

    totally irrelevant but CA18 is 98-108Nm/72-80lb.ft

    Also, overtightening is better than undertightening.

    The flywheel bolt torque for a 4age 20v bt is 75nm's.
    I presume the tension would be the same for bt and st
    And thats straight out of the toyota workshop manual

    don't over do it, they are only 14mm bolts
