    TRD

Good quality and not very expensive really. Someone did tell they leak and I won't have anything but problems and recommended cometic, but well over 12mths now the TRD hasn't had a problem. I am probably a bit biased towards Toyota/TRD as I have a lot on the car already, I figured TRD would be the best as they know best! Advantages from using others like cometic is the availability of different bore sizes.

    Samq has the TRD ones...

I've always used genuine gaskets, I also have the opinion that its better to blow a hq than destroy a head as the head gasket should only blow if something is wrong.

Apexi. Cosworth is good too. but that's from SR20 guys. Dunno about TRD stuff.

Cometic used to be real picky. I dunno if they still are. Both surfaces needed to be machined flat, otherwise they leak.

Headgaskets will "push out" when you make enough power. THEN you go to metal Bad tuning will blow head gaskets too, and metal will take more before it blows.

Id be looking for issues with your head and block (poorly machined/prepped, warped etc etc) before blaming a hg leak on the gasket.
