    Default KE70 Restoversion

Well guys this is our KE70 build, was bought for 300 bucks, as you can see its a piece of shit.
We are doing a full custom build hopefully, from white to lambo orange paintjob, with 4AGE 20 Valve, BT, AE111 dash install, custom interior trims, sound system, etc.

This is the engine the first time we got it, and then now

Car is going in getting some bodywork done and then paint

    Now a splash of paint

    Out of the paintbooth

The car is being worked on, took the loom and other crap we dont need off the engine bay, put the engine in, made a radiator mount, gauge cluster off a barbque side, did the dash mockup install, some door trims, whatever I can squeeze this day

I'll post with the build whenever I can

We are still waiting for parts to arrive from all over the place

Awesome work on the car... was the dash install relatively easy to fit? Definately a fan of seeing it in there.

There are some cool water kits out there which take attention away from the pipe running across the cam gear covers... but what you've got will work

It'll definately be a fun car when complete, which doesn't look all the far away now.

Thanks guys....and Matt, the dash is not that hard to make it work....i place the old dash face to face with the ae111 dash...and sorta winged it from there...I still have to get a sheet of 1/8 inch ABS plastic, then cut it and stick on both sides.

Then there's the center column from the handbrake to the shifter, that area needs a bit of plastic fabrication work..

And I know what you mean about the piping, I was gonna get the water relocation kit from RS Chita in Japan, but I just went on what I got for now...just have to make it neater.

As you guys can see,,,,I have to do a loooootttt of electrical work, in which I have no idea.
Then there's the hole on the firewall, cause I didnt go with the COP setup, plus too much messing around with the ecu and all that again.

And a few other bits and pieces I need to work on...I will let you know and ask your opinion on them as well....

Check out the sq water kits as well, better quality IMO than the RS chita stuff and also cheaper.

What ecu are you going to run? There are allot of options there with after market and plug n play ready looms that make it real easy.

But again a very very nice build, I like it

Matt, yeah I know Sam at SQ, bought some coil connectors, dizzy block off plate and Cop adaptor plate off of him.
This is if I was gonna do the COP setup, but for now I'm running stock ecu, If I was to use an aftermarket, it's Adaptronic, but then again, you have to go to a tuner who tunes that ecu, cause some of them loves Haltech, and vice versa.

Well today I received my rims/tires(stretched), did I bit of a mock up with the fenders and all, I can't drop the car down yet.

As you can there's a red stripe on the wheel, thats gonna changed to ORANGE.
I have to stick with my color scheme ORANGE AND BLACK,
What do you guys think if I paint the lips of the wheels ORANGE, to emphasize the dish.

Then some gauge work, removed the radiator and painted it BLACK.

Joe, i'm planning to get a double black stripes painted on the middle of the car, from back to front...that's kinda I painted the grills orange...so it will have a bit of black on the grills

Matt, I do plan on getting it engineered.....so i can drive is most of the time.

I'm taking the car off the stands in a few days...to see how the wheel fits
