Over the queens bday long weekend, i made the treak to Alice springs to see the Finke desert race.
If you havent heard of this race before.....well....you are missing out. Its the biggest off road race in the southern hemisphere!
The race goes from alice springs down to the finke community, which is 226kms south of alice. The competitors race to finke on the sunday, camp there and then race back to alice on the monday, in all, the cover 450km of the harshest terrain out there.

haha awsome, ive actually driven one of these before with a 1uzfe, was in a training course, they are some serious fun, couldnt open them up to much and was only limited to 3rd and 4th gear but even in though gears they hauled ass
