Ive just replaced mine since it was broken.
would be the 4th time if not more ive had to replace these things and every time i do the reading from 0kmph to 20kmph would be very jumpy, and not smooth like going from 30kmph to 100kmph.
im pretty sure it has to do with the way the cable is coming out of the gearbox, is there a correct way it should be positioned?
talking about that J joint looking metal piece that connects into the gearbox as that is pretty much the only thing on the cable that has the largest solid bend.
any thoughts?

I was under the impression that the back of the cluster was to blame. My original broke and the dodgy replacement from a ke70 shuddered all the time and now it just shagged. The end tip on a 86 is plastic and everything else I've seen is shaped metal.
