    Default Trueno street/track 3SGTE build

hey guys, iv been building this adm sprinter for about a year and a half now, never ending project with the usual headaches and speed bumps along the way keeping it from getting finished. and aprenticeship wages didnt help
all of the work has been done by myself and a couple of mates pitching in here and there to help me out
but anyway ill post some pics for u all

    Body work starts!
Trueno front end from the track car

    Bolt on flares fitted

Doors fully paint stripped, repaired and hifilled!

Replaced the passanger quater as it was badly damaged as he was a wet slide king
Also cut and welded for flares

Paint stripping stage, getting ready for repair

    Lights mounted and working

Finally at the paint stage, edging out
Custom 2pac Red, Based off a Honda Red, with a coat of clear over the top for more depth and shine

Prep stage, outer rubbed and ready for a squrt

    Painting stage

    Ground coat

3 coats of colour and Clear as a finally coat

Finally at home the first day

    One wire for fuel pump

    Alternator, and water temp

Decided to leave thw battery in the front, easy to get to

Glad I dont do this shit lol

Wires and relays for trueno lights

Felt like painting the light surrounds

Sparco removeble boss kit, nice and close

Bonnet pins, and bonnet fitted today, sits nice with the bonnet lock actually working

Freshly polished Hayashis with the Yokahamas
    Fit nicely

Exhaust finished, added flex pipe yesterday as someone cut the cat out and mounted a dogey piece in, also shortend hangers to lift it, so.now sits nice and high and doesnt move at all

Mounted front bar, beem to lazy to paint just yet lol

Nice to see it of the front lawn!

Engine bay completed, wiring done and all hidden amd cleaned up and fuel lines finally sorted with new carter black and fuel reg

back from my europe tour and back on my feet ready to get back into the 86.
Decided to pull the old 4age out and donate it to my mates nuts ke70, craving more power.
Loved the N/A power, sound of 10,500rpm and the old school carbies but needed a change.
    So i have picked up a Gen4 3sgte to replace 4a
Striping it down and going from there. Will be keeping internals stock as for now till i decide on more power.
There is a few little bits and pieces that needs to be fabbed up such as the drivers side engine mount, cooling system, intake and turbo manifold. Im sure there will be plenty more along the way!
Grabbed two 2s mounts from an old corona from a wrecker, turns out it Bolts straight in besides 2 bolts on drivers side. So a plate will be made up.
I have a W58 bell housing, for late model 5 speed supra box. Looking for a box atm!
Also a Hilux diff, just need the mounts welded on.
Will be running custom rear brake setup, back to 4 stud. Going to try keep the size of brakes to fit in 14's as i want to still run the Hayashis, but not going to hold my breath as i dought ill be able to with decent brakes.
Few more plans here and there
Will be alot to do but will try keep the updates coming!

Finally decided to give in and get rid of the polka dots!
    black suede much nicer

    New recaro seat for passenger

    big mess

    striped down, first test fit
sits a little high. hopefully by just changing the rocker cover will sort it out

also shaving most the engine bay of any unnecessary holes, battery tray etc
    in progress atm.
all wiring will be hidden aswell

picked up a ct26 7mgte turbo to use the rear housing for the 3s st26

    thats it for now guys
    hope u all like!!

Isn't the Gen 4 3SG a BEAMS? Thought only earlier ones are turbo'd. Nice job so far, i like the engine bay different like that, and glad you binned the polka dots, lol.
