i love the people that are shocked, at a boxer, being in a toyota
because all their sports cars were inline 4s or 6s

    DOH!!

Ya see, thats what I mean (slapping forehead). The very first Toyota sports car was a boxer engine!!!
look up Toyota 800 sports (or S800) first conceived in 1962 (50 yrs ago) and available to the public in 1967 (45yrs ago).
It was used because of the low sleek lines of the bonnet and low centre of gravity.

It's not a love thread, or place to hate the haters.

I haven't seen a tough one, or one with attitude yet except computer generated ones. No one has stepped up, and modified one yet besides the very few drift ones.
Street ones look shit so far, and i've seen more hairdressers driving them than anyone else.

Get out and drive them properly fellas !!! and i'm sure the modded ones will come through eventually.
    Don't Worry !!! ,,, I f@#king got this !!

My one had the Haltech panda vinyl wrap, it had an ecu, extractors and stainless system, advans and sway bars. It was slid and driven very hard on the track and street. There are a heap of them coming through over the next 4 months so lead times will drop.

This hate thread seems to have nothing but love.

    I hate that Toyota hasn't done a 0% finance deal with a 20% risidual

personally I think a supercharger would be a better option to get better pickup , especially for a street car.

That's what I will be going for when they are available.

Been seeing a heap of them around my area in the last couple of weeks, don't think any of the 86 owners know what an ae86 is though
