I have the same as what you're talking about, felt like it made a difference.
Plus whenever anyone gets in their like "WOAH MAN THIS THING HAS A CAGE, YOU MUST GO FAST"
Yes, yes i do
>_>
Well nobody has said anything to discourage me, looks like I'll go pick it up sometime. Thanks.

i think they are junk personally, the tube is extreamly light weight, the base plates are under engineered and theres no underplate (atleast the one i got...)
that said they are appropriotly price for what they are. and they would add rigity just as others do. in a severe crash i wouldn't put much faith in them...
Still beats not having one at all 9/10 times. You cannot win em all, but I was really happy to have something as simple as a towbar in my car for strength when I crashed. So something like this would be quite good. Nothing beats a weld in with side intrusion, but I dont think youre allowed the side intrusion bars on a street car either from what I have researched. If you want to do all round motor sport duties then look into what the different authorities need. There are differences in cage design ideals between andra and cams.
Something like these off the shelf bolt ins will not really make any scrutineers happy, but it may help you be safer and handle better in a street car that will dabble in drift or just be driven with spirit.
For the money, do it!
Yeah, sounds about right. I have had the cage in the car since I bought it 3 years ago, as with the TRD blues in the back and have never been able to run them higher than 2. I might put them up a little on mountain drives etc, but the rear end is uncomfortable around the street so they stay on 2.
When I took mine out to paint the inside I was surprised at its weight... As for my base-plates, they seem fairly strong and my cage has under-plates for every point including steel plates welded in on each foot well.
