    So work, family an uni has been keepin me busy but there's been some progress still;
    Fenders removed and guards spot welded together, rust treated and then sealed..

    Fenders then reattached with glue/bonding agent and fuel flap extended as to sit flush with the overfenders.

    Fenders were then cleaned up and blended in to the natural body lines. As it sits now in undercoat awaiting paint..

    I also test fitted the new wind visors..

    Not super impressed with the finish on the corners but nothing worth stressin about.
    That's all for now, fenders should be done early next week an then I'll start on the rwc items

    Nothing's ever straight forward for me lol

    Car's not the original red as we assumed, custom paint needed to be mixed up. New estimated completion of this job is early next week :/

    Details on the fuel flap extender? Close up photos?

    Guards look awesome by the way. Its such a nice look to keep that squarish 80's look with the extra width!

    They are from climare in the uk. We had a group buy of them a while ago. Can organise another one if we get enough interest but the aussie dollars pretty bad at the moment.
    Ty you can trim around the edges if you want a flusher fit, i didn't bother. I think kurt did and they looked good.

    So work, family and uni commitments have prevented me from doing anything further with this but I get a week off uni in a couple of weeks and that's when I plan on getting this mostly sorted.

    I'll grab photos of the fuel cap extension tomorrow and upload, it's fairly basic atm but will be neatened up later on

    Stay tuned

    Ah yes. That makes sense. Very good and thank you.

    Looking forward to seeing more progress, as I bet you are too.

    Ah bummer! I've been searching high and low after seeing some on ebay a while back. Thanks, would be interested but will have a google anyway.
