    Internal Differences

    * Rods
    * Pistons
    * Head
    * Chamber size / volume
    * Inlet ports
    * Oil pump
    * Hydraulic Tensioner
    * Timing belt
    * Cam Gear Degrees
    * Cams
    * Blacktop is interference
    * Flywheel - Blacktop has been lightened significantly. cut outs around the bolt holes.

    External Differences
    * Quad size
    * Colour of cam covers
    * AFM vs MAP
    * ECU
    * Wiring Loom
    * Airbox
    * Ignitor bracket - silvertop has starter relay mounted on it.

    Exact Same Parts
    * Rings 1.2mm top 1.5 2nd and 3mm oil ring
    * Dizzy
    * Coil
    * Ignitor

    * Injectors

    Parts that can be shared

    * Silvertop timing setup IF you use the silvertop oil pump

    injectors are also different, blacktops having the superior spraying pattern.

    I agree Matt, i have had both in my hands and they are indeed identical on the outside.

    If there was a difference it may of been right at the very end of the bt run or the very early st engines, but i am yet to see any part numbers to support this.

    rings and bearings can be used in both 1.2mm top 1.5 2nd and 3mm oil ring same as each other bearings are exactly the same aswell
    the dyno pull to 300rwkw

    BT20v is making 300rwkw like i said i would without nitrous so now its time for some spray and see if she will run a 10s or less

    I was told it by a guy who has raced an ae101 for years.

    Aware the fitment/ flow rate / part numbers etc are the same, nevertheless, he thought the spray pattern between them was different.

    Though allot of people use 1jz injectors...

    1j 2j 3sgte use all the same fitting injectors as the 20v spray pattern between black and silver is the same
    the dyno pull to 300rwkw

    waiting to confirm that the crank pulley on the blacktop is 2mm thinner, and the timing belt drive is 2mm wider
