can someone tell me why trashing your cars into walls is cool? ...or do i completely miss the picture? Yes, props to them for not giving two-shits when they drive, great. But, honestly... smashing your car into a wall for the hell of it?

It's not like you can say that they cannot afford to fix it... they're simply ruining their car with no reason at all...

people hate on me for it, but whatever, i love a good banged up, battle scarred car, cause to me drifting should be about the fun, not impressing others by how shiny your shit is. if you're too busy trying to impress others, you lose sight of enjoying yourself, and that usually means dropping a rear wheel in the dirt or entering too fast and getting into the mud or some shit, you know, pushing yourself

i've seen too many people get emo about scratching their shit, just makes me feel that much better about not giving a shit.

this car is kinda cool, apart from the front end

yeah but man there is a difference between having fun and outright ploughing your car against a gaurd rail 'for the hell of it'... I agree with what your saying, but simply driving your car into walls is almost retarded. getting your car covered in mud becuase your trying something new/having fun is one thing... but charging concrete walls?

Actually I would love to see something like this in circuit racing. Wonder if it's cool anymore in that scenario.

i think the ones that are slightly damaged are cool, the people that dont give a fuck like streeter sorta, but anything beyond that is just signs the driver is less skilled or his car isnt as well prepped so more room for error. I agree with seek and kabiceee, its all about the fun, but having a car thats so bent you cant steer the thing properly wouldnt be much fun to me, and the whole idea of pushing yourself further and challenging yourself goes further than seeing how close you can scrape a wall, theres more speed/angle more consistency, being able to roll onto a track and first lap put down an unbelievable lap, being able to build a car thats reliable, meeting challenges within certain tracks like jumping the strip at ebisu or what ever, i know each track has a sweet little challange thats fun to master, like qr's dipper or archys first corner being able to float it in nicely.

With what you've said, the whole beaten up car is then just a mask for inconsistent driving really.
