like mentioned earlier.. these cars are for the drivers to thrash as hard as they can go without need of repair. They are usually pro D1 drivers that love to experiment with walls and tire barriers and not really care if they connect with solid objects.

I'm not talking about D1 drivers like Daigo Saito and whoever else. Their cars are still somewhat presentable as a useable vehicle.

It's the privateers like the white 180sx and whatever else that doesn't resemble a car anymore.

no, its just a consequence of pushing the envelope.

"if you wanna make an omelete, you've gotta break some eggs"

its all the essence of the driving speaks louder than the presentation of the car

    ^Thats what i meant, yeah.

To say that guys in their 'pretty' cars are pushing just as hard as the guys in missile cars is just not true, if they were, their cars wouldnt be 'pretty' they would be smashed to shit!

I actually dont think that any of the drivers purposely smash their cars into the walls, i would be confident in saying that it only happens because they are pushing THAT hard that one second of too much handbrake or throttle and bam, into the wall or the car infront.

    Hate that car.

Build a drift car, use decent parts then as it gets thrashed it will begin to look like that.

But building a drift car that would looks like a pig even when it hasnt been thrashed by using garden edging as flares is just gay. No suprise its an american car.

actually setting out to build a pig is laaaame..this is what I try to tell people, a car should become 'pig' as a result of the way it is driven, not because matte paint and broken body parts are 'cool'

lol at the 'custom' roof spoiler riveted onto the ae86 though

Parts of it are cool, most of it is tryhard cool

Anyway I can't see how these broken cars are cool, interesting to watch them. but not really cool

Stuff like Streeter's car I can appreciate, because he is an effing gun driver and doesn't give a damn if he has a few (small) scrapes. Too much more than that just gets silly, eg the white 180 with round rear end lol

Well, Streeter's car is fine, and I like it, because the original intention is for it to be nice, but has been beaten up here and there from driving and learning.
Going straight for the pig look like said is lame. Though I'm sure even the White 180SX was nice at one stage, just the owner just kept going, for gods sake just replace the shell, it's cheap enough over there. haha

Hmm.. This is getting ridiculous.. It's not an argument thread guys.. It's a thread to post up pics of Smashed up drift cars! And i honestly think in all reality that 80% of you are missing the whole point of these cars.. Ever thought of the fact that these cars are just practice cars? They all would own a nice looking respectable drift car, and then use those shitters for practicing new techniques maybe? Hence the name of the "Missile Car" they use them untill they are totally fucked or die..
