Cheers again for the reply. The injectors have dark red / orange connectors on them.

Its been about 2 years since i last did a bigport conversion... Disconnect the ecu, apply voltage to each injector for half a second to manually pulse them and try starting...

That'll confirm it 100% if it is injector pulse related.

You definately have a strong spark? Timing verfied (timing belt as well) ?

Thanks for the replies again everyone, can't seem to find the connector nor resistor box, however this doesn't mean it wasn't left in the donor car. The impedance of the injectors is 2.4 Ohms and they have a dark red / orangey connector on them. Are this the type that require the resistor network box?

    Cheers again in advance.

If you spray start ya bastard or carry cleaner down the throttle and then crank it, does it fire into life for a few seconds?

hey silde86, we havent tried that but after thoroughly going all the correct readings and continuity with a multi-meter, it all seemed legit - still no injectors actuating. We removed the fuel rail and injectors and i tested them one by one using a brief pulse of 12V, 3 out of the 4 are functional. All injectors measure 2.4 ohms however could this one faulty injector stop them all from firing?
    Cheers again for the replies.

It'll run on 3 cycl , just poorly. Not sure of the impact electrically but leave it disconnected and try anyway.

Might be worth trying another ecu?

That was my suspicion Matt. I hope the ECU / Map sensor / dizzy sensor isn't fucked
