    Hey fellow automotive freaks!
I'm about to commit a cardinal sin - buying a car (KE70 '84), without my wife knowing!
We bought a a house six months ago, a 2 1/2acre property. A 20 something year old relationship tells me I can hide it from her, for a few months at least!
The problem isn't affordability, it's priority.
The house is in serious need of a 100k reno - that was the plan when we decided to buy it. I promised not to get involved with any kind of car projects until the reno was done.......
I also own a Toyota Aristo 1996 with a few light mods. It's a luxury car that's fairly quick however, for track days, hill-climbs and sprints etc. I need a dedicated race car!
I have a spare 2jz motor and also a 6-speed box. In my head, it fits into the KE70. It will. I'll make it fit! Imagine how fast that'll be. Is that wishful thinking? I've seen two like it in South Africa.

    Here's one of them -

Ok, wish me luck, and I'll keep you posted.......

Lol so many people are doing that, hiding shit they are buying. Makes me laugh tho and divorce whilst expensive is usually worth it.

jz into xe7x chassis has been done a few times here as well. Looking forward to the fun beginning

It's not hiding, it's social engineering in conversations.

This is the thing! I too really want this almost impractical 2JZ beast!
Tho, I have to go with the more realistic, pragmatic, affordable 4age project.......
My wife, bless her, does not even notice when I buy a new TV sometimes!
She does not venture beyond the smoking area, and has no interest in the garden, or even the shed! I just have the perfect marraige! LMFAO!!!!!!!
