Default suitable diffs for moderately powerd 86s

hey guys. im about as green as it comes when it comes to diffs. iv just broken a diff in my sr turbo 86.
it has a tarago e series 4.3 ratio diff. im having trouble locating a replacement center. my question is, what centers are compatible with that housing (if any)? also a friend suggested i get an rn40 rear axle but again having no luck.
i work away so i dont have alot of time on the net to research. what would be my best bet for a reliable rear end?
any info would be greatly appreciated.

F series is the way to go, 7.5" center.
you will find them in mkII corona ( same track as 86) or in Yr22 tarago +50mm?? cant remember. they will take punishment all day, tried, tested and proven.
Mechanical LSD's available as well from all popular Japanese manufacturers.
    Can't really go wrong.

Ps just to make it clear, this center won't fit in your E series.

F series is good. As Sundee says. There is also MS112 Crown F series which has huge wheels bearings and good discs.
G series (Hilux diff) is bigger and stronger and may be overkill. Supra discs can be fitted.
    Then there's R31 too.

All will require mounts changed, tailshaft changed, handbrake cable modified/changed, etc, etc. If you're away with work alot then it may be worth buying something ready to go, or taking parts to a shop and saying "make it work".
